new shewz.

best night of my life thus far

on october 25th, emily and i ventured into the foo concert. we had no tickets, but the hand of God came down upon us and we ended up stage side. they played for close to three hours, and for the encore even did a little rendition of in the flesh. dave grohl (my husband), jumped down from the stage and started to do a little sexy dance with one of the female concert go-ers. this, as you could very well image, threw me into a jealous rage which led me to make googly eyes with a crew member. again, the hand of God came down from the heavens and as it turned out, i was making conversation with the foo fighters tour manager. he gave em and i some backstage passes, and so after the show we hung out in the rock box, smoking and drinking with band members, and brushing up against a shirtless dave grohl. if i die tomorrow, that would be OK because all i have ever wanted in this life is to meet my husband. and i finally did.

apart from the keyboardist being kind of a creepy fellow, i would have to say that everyone we met that night was r-a-DOUBLE d! especially pat smear, who hopped off his tour bus to give me a hug and chat over a cigarette. tour manager gus and i are still in cahoots, and mark my words i WILL be seeing my husband again soon, in the flesh.
